it seems the only people that bought PS3 or Wii are people lookng to make a quick dollar instead of actually enjoying the system...

i guess that's capitalism for ya.

Only cause some dude in the states rolled up a UHaul truck with a bunch of homeless dudes in it, and he paid them to sit in line for him for the PS3..

Replace "homeless dudes" with "patients", and you see where I'm going..

there were fights, someone got shot.. over a video game system, there is no justification for that kind of behavior.

waiting in line for 12+ hours for a video game system.. i'm sure as hell going to play it, not flip it and make 200ish bucks. (currently on ebay, most winning bids are for $1000-1200, and a lot of those include games and an extra controller)

in 12 hours of working i could almost make that kind of money, and i don't really work for that high of a paying job.

i know people that called in sick for those days that the PS3 and Wii came out...

so really is it worth waiting all that time for basically $16-17 an hour?

I waited in line with my boyfriend at EB Games in the Mic Mac Mall for a little over an hour. They handed out 24 tickets. We were #26. "NO WII FOR YOU."
