Where'd the Complaints Forum go?

Shame on every one of you that put your two cents into that stupid argument on RNT's RC thread. While I do hold my own opinion about each of you, I won't say names. That's childish. Throwing insults around is also childish. That thread changed my opinion and expectations of so many of you, it makes me question whether I want to be contributing to a site where an argument like that is even possible.

Why do you find yourselves incapable of seeing the good in someones post? How about reviewing your "offensive" posts, to see why exactly others took it the wrong way? Can't you just stop, breathe, and say you're sorry? Try counting to ten, try walking around. As far as I'm concerned, reputation on a site like this does matter, especially if you're an actively contributing member. Dogg_P pissed me off, I pissed him off, and now we're friends. It's not difficult.

Please, for the sake of the other members, stop fighting on the forums! I don't know what else I can say. One last thing though, Cindy's radiation is NO laughing matter, and comparing a moderator to Hitler is both idiotic and repulsive. I physically felt sick when I read both of these posts.

my main beef with reputation on this site is that it revolves around silly banter and discussions, when instead it should be based on whether or not the person made good with their buy/sale.

it's nice to have a community site, and it's nice to have a buy/sell site, but i think the "community" aspect is heavily outweighing the buying/selling.

people have every right to sign up for whatever reason they want i suppose, but i'd really like to see a very strong local classifieds website.

i also don't see how replying to a post that has been deleted is helping any as well. there is just something.. (and i'm not sure what)... about this site that doesn't seem very user friendly for new members. maybe i'm just paranoid.

Now you've gone and started a whole new thread to give "Your" two cents saying that people shouldn't be giving "Their" two cents...

Heather - I do hope that you in no way took anything I said to Cindy as mocking of what she may be going through health wise. When I posted in response to her telling me off, I had no idea she was going through radiation. I already sent her a private message earlier today making sure we were clear on that.

I think yourself and omnistatic have pointed out a major flaw around here though - this website isn't very welcome towards:

- new users.
- differing opinions.

I've basically tried "joining" this site twice now. Both times, if I post something that differs in opinion to other users, I've been bombarded with negativity.

I always try to take the high road, but after a while, I end up saying, "fuck it", and posting something low brow, which is a pretty good sign things aren't quite right here.

My opinion is that this site now sucks for two reasons, one of which has always been there.

1. The discussion forum is now at the bottom
2. People take things seriously

For #2... what's wrong with taking things seriously once in a while? We could just create a bunch of threads where everyone tells everyone how much they like each other. Serious discussions can be fun.

I'd change #2 to people over reacting to a differing opinion to their own..

Copying? What... are you in grade school?

As far as the Picture goes, there are a few people using it. I requested the Blue version with the black background and resized it and added a border to it. Seems a few others like it that way and have chose to use it. Being as I'm NOT in grade school with you, littleme, I don't consider it "Copying".

As far as the "User Feedback"... It's there because this -IS- a buy/sell/swap site and clicking on that link shows anyone that I am not an asshole and anyone that has dealt with me in person has had nothing but good things to say about me.

Hence my sarcasm that I am one. Of course there are some morons *cough* that don't understand sarcasm.
