LF Hard Drive Cloning Software Advise - NS4Sale

Hey all,
I have a drive with atleast 1 bad sector and when I try to clone the drive to a new drive it fails using Ghost due to the bad sector. I would rather not re-install the OS and all accouting software if not needed. Both drives are SATA and would need to make exact copies of the data as it has business accounting software.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've used Acronis True Image several times to clone drives with no issues.
It isn't free, but its well worth the price.

Check out the seagate site for their free HD clone software. I believe it's a scaled down version of acronis. It's worked well for me the few times I used it, but be sure to un-install it afterwards as it leaves a lot of crap running in the background.

Acronis stops when it hit's a bad sector and doesn't go any further in the process.. just like ghost. I need it to just skip the bad sectors and copy the rest of the drive as I know what was damaged on that sector.

Odd, I've never had it outright stop a backup on me. If there's a serious issue and it fails to read it will ask you to skip the bad data...what version are you running?

Problem solved.. went onto Acronis web site and downloaded ver 11 and it worked perfect.
