Ok, i have a Dell Running a Intel Pentium 4, 1.4ghz s478, Now i have a Intel Celeron 2.4ghz s478.
Im wondering if the Celeron would be better then the P4?

There's a good chance the Dell won't even support that Celeron

its should be a bit faster, and fyi higher celerons got the same fsb as lower p4's so as long as your mobo can support 400/533 fsb your good

The motherboard may not support the lower voltage used by the Celeron. ( P4 1.4 was 1.75, the Celeron is 1.25 to 1.525)
