Default DDR2 problem

I am having a strange problem with my memory. In the BIOS it is showing up as 667MHz (which is what it is), but in Windows it is showing as 533MHz. Anyone know what is up with that?

what utility are you using in windows to see this speed?
Also is this a desktop or laptop?

Using CPUZ as well as the nvidia monitor that came with my mobo. This is in my desktop running an e6400 and MSI P6N-SLI

Are you looking in the memory tab or the SPD tab?
