Harmon-Kardon AVR-147 5.1 amp with HDMI switching

Pioneer DVD dv-285
A single JBL E-60 speaker (i wish a second, but no one sells it in singles), + 5 speaker sony surround
the old sony amp just sits there.
that book case of dvd's is one of 3, + 4 papper boxes full, + numerouse other dvds scatterd throught the house.
And yes that is a Conky finger puppet we got 3 sets of the christmas special, one to put away. one to open and have the conkey puppet out and the dope and liquer edition.
I also have a modded xbox i use but i keep it in my room mostly now.

actually i would be too nervous to do something like that, then i would be able to enjoy watchin it cause it would make me nervous just thinking about it. but i definitely need an upgrade in audio video dept.

yahh that is all from the last year and a half, before that we have a 32"jvc, sony suppound, a satallite receiver baught in 97, and a toshiba dvd without 480p baught back in like 01

Why not use the xbox as a media center - nothing beats XBMC, unless you're a diehard HD video watcher.
I'll post my setup later.

Ha i want to but i don't have a bloody long enough cable i'm not using already,, i need like a 50' or somthing,, well i have 2 100' cat5e cables, one is running from downstairs to my room, and the other sat in a box for five years till i decided to test it there about 4 motnhs ago and it doesnt work at all,, and the company no longer exists. i was pissed off, they were $34.99 a cable. so i just use a 14' cable for it in my room lol. i have a 16 port switch for my room, yah i'm a nerd haha. and yah alex thats a picture of a sailboat ahaha

42" plasma
xbox 360
dedicated TV capture unit/file server
thats it.. no HDPVR satellites, or crazy surround sound systems..
I chose the 360 over the original xbox because of the upscaling ability. 42" plasma looks like pure shit in 480i the xbox puts out using MCE software, 360 looks beautiful, and has native support for HD video files, or can be transcoded easily.

i just got a 32" toshiba WS HD lcd tv then i hooked it up to my tower and 360 also have a makeshift 5.1 system works good love to watch fights and races on it. i just download movies and watch them on the tv looking to upgrade the grafics card so that i can make it into a high def moniter by hooking it up through HDMI.

If you do all of your gaming on the 360, you will probably find that one of the Nvidia 8600 or ATI 2600 series cards will get your computer hooked up to your WS at a really decent price (can be found for sale on-line sub $100).
