Umm,, can anyone tell me whats up with this? - NS4Sale

My video card over shares.. it did the same thing with my old one, it was that peice of sh*t 6200se 64mb card that was suppose to share to 256 but it went to 384 insted. my newer HIS x300 is a 128mb card shard to 256 but noo vista decided it was going to 895.. so i have no idea if this is a bad thing or not..

don't worry about it, its vista, not the card.
Your card isnt actually using that much, it just has that available if you NEED it.

It does the same with mine, even though mine isn't a turbo cached card. Also it only shows 256mb of my cards memory in the properties when it has more than that.

whats up with that...??? is it just a glitch or somthing microsoft needs to work out with vista?

so that makes me wounder because my card says its 256 with turbo cache i don't know what it is anymore lol

I think that if the the system memory was being used by the video card, it would show something other than 0 in the system video memory.

i have an ati x1650pro and it shows up as 512 megs shared
