LF Excel / Access Help for Pool - NS4Sale

Hi,
I am trying to set up a office Nascar Pool and need some excel or access help. The way I have it set up now is people choose 1 driver from a group of 4 drivers.. there are 8 groups so each poolie will have 8 drivers. All points on based on season point totals.

The way I'd like it to work is to be able to put all choices in by car number ( ex Dale Jr = 8) then have formulas to sum up the points based on the choice of car numbers. Can anyone help me out with this or make a suggestion on how to link the info as I know a little about excel and access but not enough to figure this out before Tuesday as I want it in place before the big race on Sunday.

It should be failry easy to do in Excel. Take a look at the Help section for formulas, and you should be able to figure it out.

When you're entering people's picks, be sure to enter them as the cell numbers instead of the car numbers and it will make it easier. ie: If I pick car #8, and car #8 is represented by cell B4, set my cell as =B4 instead of 8.

If you want more help than that, I'd have to sit down and play around with Excel a bit.
