Comp problems help - NS4Sale

Well, i was working inside my computer, putting a fan in, after my bros cat chewed the connector on my side panel (had it off putting in my new 1gb ram) so then i left to take a leak, and came back and the cat was, l inside the case, and now it freezes on the BIOS Screen

fixed, but i still dont know wat the problem was.....

Ive come to believe the problem was, one of these things 80gb WD HDD is going (so its now the 2nd drive, 40gb Maxtor main now (need to reformate anyway, Win XP Pro "Unlimated" KEy, Ran out, Yea? WTF) So I put Win XP Home, Had Disc from Dell, and HOme Key from another comp i sold (/wo an OS). Popped it back up, Boots flawlessly, Only Problem is a Mainboard one 2xAux Fan connectors having a probelm, the work just get inaccurate or no reading. Goes from 0 to 11k-12k and CPU fan doesnt even get that high. but jsut turned the asus monitor to not read them, and thats fine.

It also could have been a virus/spyware. The good thing is I use the 2nd drive to save almost EVERYTHING to. last time the 80 only had 20gb used, 60 unused and the 40gb 2nd was maxed, mainly with games (BF2, BF2142, CSS/HL2/HL, GTA: SA & VC, Starcraft & Broodwar, Diablo 2 & LOD, NFS: MW, NFS: Cardon, Halo, WoW) all took about 30gb themselves lol. But im only loading 3 now, NFS: Carbon, CSS/HL2, and WoW
