put your ram chips in and boot up your computer get to bio setting then go to save on exit...then let it run if it loads then off you go.. if it doesn't wait a couple of min...then unplug your computer put your hand over the ram chips to see if one is hotter then the other..if so the pc ram speed is not the same you can go down in speed but not up..and is best to run the same pc rams dimm.. if it works you might find the computer freezing in some program.. i hope this helps...some people do it differant but thats my way quick and simple...good luck ...
