Well I guess I get to steal RNTs imac score since that is now my desktop computer.

iMac Core2 T7400 2.16ghz - 1gb DDR2 667mhz

23.563s

Holy crap batman!!!!!!!

Edit: I forgot to mention that's SuperPi mod at 1m calcs

I just did the same test on my Acer laptop.
1.5 Ghz Celeron M OC'd to 2.0Ghz with 1 GB DDR2 667 ram (but the ram is only running at 400

46.422s

I'm picking up a Pentium M 750 (1.86Ghz 533 FSB) so I'll do another laptop SuperPi test once that is in and update.

Here is something interesting.. this shows just how efficient the new virtualization software is.
The iMac is booted into OSX, and I then booted my Windows XP bootcamp partition in Parallels. It is configured with 384Mb Ram. Both OS's running at the same time...

SuperPi = 26.141s

WOW!

only a 3 second difference, I'm not sure how much the ram difference (1gb to 386mb) affects the score. I really want to get 2Gb ram into this imac and test again.

OK I just installed the Pentium M 750.

43.626s

Not a big difference, but I think the battery saving, speedstepping, and 2M L2 Cache was worth it.

UPDATE - Cool! I just undervolted the chip with Notebook Hardware Control.. and I got a 10 degree cooler CPU and a FASTER SuperPi.

43.046s

800Mhz at 0.764v and 1.86Ghz at 1.068v

The CPU now has a max temp at max load and speed of 46 degrees! that is only a few degress hotter than the idle of my Celeron M.

Really AWESOME
