Nice.
I only bid on EBay in the last 15 seconds or so, so I can almost certainly win it if I want . I managed to get a identical matching 256 MB DDR SODIMM RAM stick for my laptop...for $5 shipped.

I prefer the Buy It Now option when i can but I did win one of the two auctions I was part of. Won an AMD XP-M 2600+ from california for $110 shipped about a year and a half ago.

I need to get myself a 7900 GS/GT....hmm...after Christmas... .
Any idea how much those would cost?
Then again, I could get a video card, or save a couple months more for a nice Core 2 Duo mobo/chip. Decisions, decisions.

A 7900gt will run anywhere from $200-300. GS is abit cheaper i think. Try to buy an EVGA if you can as they have lifetime warranty, and after having 2 die on me you will be happy to have that. other company's offer lifetime warranty aswell, but I can vouch for EVGA's service.

Dosn't the term win only become valid when your givin something as a prize, for no cost?

Nope...at an auction if you are the highest bidder, you are considered to 'win' the bid.
Another example would be to 'win' someone's heart...and as lots of guys can attest, that often isn't at no cost
