it's suposed to be 10/1 but mine is still download is 12% better, upload is 9% better

dave, what is your internet provider? What modem are you using and where is your location? Your connection seems lower than the average for dartmouth.

i'm with eastlink. modem is 5101 Motorola SB and i'm in a subdivision about 5 mins down caldwell rd.

i know it should be better, any ideaS?

The modem is a good one, could be your location. Try unplugging your modem for 5 minutes then plugging it back in. It may help.
