Card Locked? - NS4Sale

So I was putting some pictures from my digital camera onto my computer, it was all finished and then I put my card backed into my camera. Now it is saying "Card Locked" WTF does that mean and why did it happen?

hey Krissy,
It's a safety feature so you can stop the card from being used.
There's usually a little slide on the card itself thatwill lock/unlock it.
