As the subject says, I'm looking for men's skates. I'm assuming that the sizing works the same way as normal shoes do... So I take a size 13w or 14 shoe (depending on the make). I want my little guy to learn how to skate - and I'm going to have to learn right along with him.

Skates typically fit smaller than shoes by a size or two. Here is a good link that shows the differences for most of the major skate manufacturers.

Cool. So it looks like I need a 13 in Nike or a 12 in any other brand. Now that's solved... Anyone got any? I'm not looking to spend much, I don't know if I am even going to be able to skate. Never done it in my life. But I'd like to give it a go without spending a bunch of cash to do it.
