Default Beowulf in 3D

Unbelievable! Not only was it a very good movie but seeing it in 3D made it even more enjoyable. The cgi was almost perfect, from the pores and fine lines in the character's faces to the ripples of the water, if not for the rather choppy horse riding scene - oh and I don't think Angelina Jolie's boobs moved either. LOL

But other than that, it was a great movie experience. Anyone else here see it yet?

I thought it looked poorly animated, personally. Was very cartoon-y in some scenes..
The movie itself was "okay".. Would have been better if they stuck closer to the original poem though, I think. Wtf was with the random conversion to Christianity?

Meh, I don't know. I don't go to see movies with high expectations - I just go for the entertainment. I've seen a lot worse for animation in movies and even though the plot was, basically, simplistic - I still enjoyed it. Anything I have to think too much about, like the Matrix (WTF?!), just confuses me and I don't enjoy myself if I have to try to figure out what's going on.

23 didn't require thinking, it was terrible.
There was no way to know what was going on until they handed it to you.
Worst movie ever.
EVER.
And I thought cable guy was fine.
AND I've seen Gummo.
23 was a stinker.

BTW- haven't seen Beowulf yet, really looking forward to it.

Yeah, I saw 23 and wasn't highly impressed by it but didn't think it completely sucked either. No, I didn't get "lost" watching it either.

When I watched the Matrix, all I could keep saying was "I don't get it." LOL Then something would make sense and I'd understand only to have something else happen and completely lose me again.

Final Fantasy - The Spirits Within was better than Beowulf.

If you do go see it, I recommend seeing it in Real D 3D and not at the IMAX. I saw it in Real D (at Dartmouth Crossing) and at the IMAX and, to be honest, I enjoyed it more in Real D. The shit seem to fly out more at ya and stuff. lol

Oh and I absolutely love the show Weeds. That and Dexter... Two really great shows.

Agreed, actually.
I still think this movie was only made so they could render Angelina Jolie naked, giant, and in 3d.
