Transformers
I don't know about anybody else but I'm an uber geek and looking forward to this comming out.
Its supposed to be out on the 3rd, but I went and bought and 8:30pm ticket today for July 2.
Anybody else geeking out in a big way? Will there be anybody familiar in the theatre that night?

I don't have a ticket yet, but I am certain that I (and likely a dozen friends or so) will be there.
I'm excited, but at the same time really pissed about it.
When the fuck did Starscream get short, fat, and brown? Soundwave isn't there (WTFHEWASSOAWESOME?!), and Megatron looks like a pussy.
But, I still want to see it, hardcore.

I'm not a fan of movie theateres, haven't been to one since SW: Episode II. But I might just go to this. I'm really looking forward to seeing it. And that means something coming from someone that rarely watches movies.

I read a fairly valid explanation on wikipedia today, who claim that appearance, and removal of characters was for realism. They didn't want to have huge changes in mass, starscream being bigger than usual, and soundwave not being there. Instead of having a huge awesome dude turn into a little boombox, they have a little scrawny dude turn into a little boombox.. makes sense, but I'm still not happy about it. haha

Transformers was f'n great.
Nuts to the reviews that say otherwise, it was cool as dirt.
Permafrost dirt.
