Default Need Assistance ASAP

Ok guys, I need some help.

After being out of the work force for almost 3 years, I have decided to go back to work part-time. However, here in lies my problem, how does one write a cover letter explaining she was working because she choose to be a stay-at-home mom for a while and still come across as sounding experienced and professional. I have been fighting with this for the last 2 days and anything I have written sounds like pure shit.

Could someone please help? I will forever be grateful

Thanks

you should meet with someone that prepares resumes for a living. Not sure who that is in Truro but check with the YMCA or an outfit like http://www.jobsearchservices.ca/ or visit a local C@P site and ask for assistance

Thanks for the advice but its not my resume that needs work, my resume can speak volumes all by itself, its just those damn cover letters. Trying to come up a professinal sounding excuse/reason why I choose to stay at home is the problem. But I will take look at the site you provided and see if they can help.

that's what they do so yes they should be able to help or direct you to someone to assist with the cover letter. I always suggest that a cover letter be modified to specificlly meet the requests of the job that a person is appying for and not to make a generic type of one used for multiple situations

Have you tried Furture Worx? They are located on Glenwood Drive (Truro)? They are very helpful from what I've heard
