Amen Brother... and don't get me started on what some people spend on speaker wires... or power conditioners.

There is no end to the "high-end" of any pursuit or hobby .... and it is always a very long way from what is more than good enough for us mere mortals.

I hear ya! And I might just know a certain someone that goes the distance when it comes to the wires and conditioners! Ahahhaha. I used to be into it fairly heavy but I've lost interest to other hobbies I guess

Btw Peak Audio is a fantastic place, great bunch of guys over there and service is the name of the game.

like i said before,im into hi end audio and these speakers are no joke.they arent no home theatre in a box speaker.i hooked up these to my cambridge audio reciever and i was quite impressed.you can put all the power you want into these and get no distortion at all.i currently use mordaunt short speakers in my setup because i like the detail i get from these british speakers.but overall i havent seen a speaker that cheap in price that can perform like that before.nobody is saying they are the best speaker ever, just saying that they are a steal of a deal and the best bang for the buck.

by the way, PEAK AUDIO is where i get most of my equipment.
they have great service and great products.

I grabbed a set of these last week (ordered in) and they sure as hell pound, I still can't believe they were only $65 each

I see several people are praising the QX900 tower speakers. I am interested in finding out if anyone has the matching center and rear speakers, or the XP sub 10-50 subwoofer. Are these as good as (matching quality) the tower floor speakers?

Any and all comments on the issue are most welcome
