guitar hero II were at future shop today for the 360. wouldn't it be the same as guitar hero III except for the software??

Yes, true and I was thinking the same thing. I will have to get the II if I can't get the III. I suppose I should buy it today though before everyone else gets the same idea. Oh and I also found out that Blockbuster carries these games as well and I have my name on the wait list for Bedford store. I am second on the list!! So who knows I may still be able to get it yet! |

if the hardware was the same, and i don't know if it's possible, but buy the software separately.

Oh thanks! It's like it was sent from heaven!!
I've been looking for weeks and my friend just called...she was in Walmart and I said could you just check to see if they have the game that Zack wants. I was thinking it was going to be NO again but thought I get her to ask anyway. She calls me back 5 min later and said they had a couple left. I couldn't believe it! I had just checked there Thursday night.
Anyway, it's all good now!!!

i just bought an Xbox yesterday as a spur of the moment thing lol. might pick up that game too after the new year

Glad you found a copy of the game, I hope you didnt get just the game with no guitar bundle or the game is just not the same using a mouse and keyboard. If you did get the bundle your child will be one happy camper come Tuesday morning. I hope you have headphones for him also cause like most Rock and Roll it needs to be loud to get the full experience

Thanks! I did get the whole bundle. Got a white guitar...he was hoping for a black one but he won't care...he'll still love it!!! He's got earphones too already so we are soooo ready for this!! 
I'm so happy I got it...they said they decided to put them out but they were for the boxing day sale...so they might be even cheaper on boxing day for anyone who wasn't as lucky as me. The song list looks really good too. Can't wait to give it to him!! |

so anyone having any problems with their guitar hero? ours the first button doesn't work all the time. and how about the rockband gear, someone told me there was problems with the drums in some kits??

which GH guitar? wireless?
my wireless i returned it was crap
in terms of rockband
so far no problems with my pieces
although i find the game itself isnt as "on" as GH
i have both guitars and on RB i rarely get perfect on a song
but on GH i get perfect on most
medium levels on both
anyway there you go
