LAN Party - Again - NS4Sale

Still the idea of a LAN party roams through my head. Post your ideas. IF anyone knows a place that we can get, or network equipment to rent and Such. Summers coming (hope to hell it BETTER!).
Any input would be good, And Rules. RNT I know oyu have alot to say like before. Will try to keep it to what we need to get/rent and prices, and ACCTUALLY talk about it this time. (Havnt been to a LAN befor either :/.) So Someone with more experience in setup/renting equipment and area, Would realy help here. Ive not re-read the old one, But I know somone on here has Experience, And there was a good cheap place found. (But didnt get any further then that, no talking about the stuff, communicating between people and just dried up.)

actually, me and a couple buddies were planning a lan for some time now. We have access to 2 24port hubs (100mbps) and he can rent a dojo. Priced would be very low, and there would be lots of air conditioned room

Intencity on quinpool Rd next to Kings palace. they are all set and ready to go. they have discount for groups also. My friends used to own the place. it's great

anybody wanna help organize one? Maybe at that intencity place. My friend can bring 2 24 ports. Ive been killing for a lan for awhile now haha, and it will help the people of ns4sale get to know each other better.

Well the last time this idea was brought up it slowly faded away. RNT asked me to consider taking it over and organize it, but I felt that the ones that had started the whole thing let the kind offer of someone willing to help out that had experience and a place to rent for cheap slip through their fingers. I really didn't want to take on such a project that was already messed up.

The place in question had the necessary power capabilities to host such an event, that can not be done just anywhere, depending on how many people are expected to show.

There is a lot of work that goes into this kind of thing, a lot more than just finding a couple of 24 port routers, once again, depending on how big you want this to be.

I will see where this goes and monitor this thread to gather some suffice input as to how serious you guys are and how many people would seriously be interested, before I volunteer my time and effort.

At intencity all you bring is your A$$ they have everything else. That place is a lan gaming center. It holds 12 people, no need to bring your hub. If you want the place for that many people you will need to book it in advance.

12 People Seems To Little. Booking in advance also gives us time to let everyone know time, date, place. So they can setup drives/carpooling, etc.

I got a 22" CRT, But ill most liely take the small 15" CRT LoL
