I hope it's not for a baby to use. They're illegal for a reason.

I would strongly advise against using these... If you are concerned about them learning to walk, don't be. We used one of the stationary ones (well it rocks side to side, but it doesn't roll) and our little guy learned to walk without any problems at all.
I'm not trying to tell you how to raise your child, but it's just a friendly warning that these things are VERY dangerous - even if you don't have stairs!

You know Terran I agree walkers aren't safe, however the new styles are and first off, you are to be with your child when they are in these walkers. I have friends who have one including myself and I shut all doors and watch my child close enough so that this will not happen, actually he's in it,in the kitchen when I cook that is the only time he's in it, so don't dog me out, for the parents should be responsible and should know better!!!!!

I am completely agree with you jeepgurl it have a difference between leaving your child in a baby walker without supervision and put her in one when you are with her and you supervise what she does. You can have a regular toy and if she fall in the stairs (or a bro push her or him) it have the same results. You need a baby gate and you need to supervise your child. It's not a way to just leave it your child alone... you need to be there.

Actually, I don't agree with the walker being illegal due to the fact that it is lazy parents that gave them a bad name..Thats why baby gates were invented..sit your baby at the top of some steps and just walk away..I bet the same thing would happen...Its not the walker its the parents!!! The comment above should not be taken to heart..If your A good parent..get yourself a walker!!!
