'85 Yamaha FG460s FS [Rare]
This guitar is a rare bird (pun intended)! 26 yrs old.
The solid top FG's are great guitars, this model in particular has beautiful abalone inlay work around the front body binding and the sound hole. It also has the beautiful mother of pearl Dove inlay on the headstock and fingerboard, these were only produced with the Dove inlay between '85 and '87 and have become much more sought after than their slightly newer counterparts with the leaf headstock inlay.
1985 Yamaha FG-460s:
- Solid spruce top
- Indian Rosewood back and sides
- Indian Rosewood Fingerboard and bridge

The guitar isn't mint as it is 26 yrs old, however it's in surprisingly good shape. A few nicks and scuffs here and there from regular use, no dings that have broken the finish or anything. Small area on the back with a belt buckle scratch that I'm sure can be buffed out. Nut and saddle have been replaced with bone. Smudged finish above the new nut should also be able to be buffed out.
Overall a very nice and nostalgic guitar.
Also comes with original brown hard shell case and an electronic tuner.
