lf: 2.5" sony lcd for pentax s7

I just bought my girlfriend a pentax s7 digital camera off ebay for a very good price.. because the lcd was broken. However i already had an lcd the same size here from her last kodak whick she dropped in the tub (ha ha) .. anyways, not only is the kodaks lcd non glossy, its bulky enough it wont fit in the old ones place and the wires don't line up what so ever. (not about to get into any electrical engineering don't bother lol) Anyways, the broken lcd i pulled out had sony marked on the bottom and the ribbon cable which is pretty small, comes out of the left side of the lcd. If anybody has this or a similar 2.5" lcd that they think will do the trick for me, please reply to this. I really wanted this camera to work out for her, and she really does too. Thanks
