Hey Andrea, glad you were happy with your dealings with us, it was a pleasure to send good animals to good homes. I am going to use you as a little example here if you don't mind. You took 3-4 months to pay for your snake. It was 3-4 months after I shipped the gecko to Tony that I made a rant post about him on SWR. Whats the difference in your situation and his? Why did I post to complain about him and not you? Well, you were in constant contact with me, you kept me informed of when you would be able to pay and you were easy to contact and get information from, Tony ignored everything, then when it was made public tried to make it our fault.... You can see the difference there yes?
As for other people jumping on this, I am sure there is a little pack mentality happening. And I "kinda" agree with your sentiment that it should be between Tony and Dee and I. We tried that for over 6 months but it didn't work, so I guess people who know us and like us, or even tolerate us, lol, are coming to our defense. It may not be the best motive for people to get involved, but sometimes it happens that when two parties are involved in a dispute lines are drawn in the sand and there are people on both sides of that line.
In regards to your assertion that it shouldn't affect his ability to sell... well... I have to disagree. If the gecko he is selling here is indeed the gecko we sent him, and at this point I see very little reason to believe anything but that, then he is selling stolen goods on a public site. Any person who knowingly sells stolen goods is a criminal and should have to take account for his actions. I just wouldn't feel good buying ANYTHING from Tony, what if other things Tony sold on this site prove to be stolen, what if it is something of a higher value than a gecko, what if police involvement occurs? I mean I'm no expert, but looking at the history, this thread and the nitro truck thread, Tony shows a pattern, and any person who buys from him knowing this pattern exists could become every bit as accountable as him.
