Greg,
Just create a new gmail account or msn.. contact him to see if he would take $1000 for his system. Agree to meet hi in person 1/2 way like he said and if in fact it is the slimy prick then either take the system or beat his ass until you feel you got $1000 bucks outta him !!
FYI I am still looking for the info or the box I got that POS power supply from him as it had his address on it.

I found his old number is Sydeny.. if you gave it to someone at Aliant they maybe able to dig up his old street address to see if there is a new phone number.. anyways if you want it let me know.

Had a friend working on it but he told him it was sold, likely getting somewhat wise to the situation after seeing this thread and over at Hfx4sale. He has already ripped another guy for a load of cash for the supposed pc and gave him a bogus tracking number. I've also been contacted by a couple others he's ripped off so now it's a team effort which I expect will show some results soon.

Well I can tell you that:
1) he sends his email from an eastlink connection with an email address of airborneranger@eastlink.ca and uses the name Dan Maurice
2) he doesn't have an xbox 360, despite the ad on kijiji to the contrary and taking $350 for one
3) the eastlink account has moved a couple of times but it's still active
4) his last two addresses are:

and
3-17 Douglas St
Sydney,NS

CA
The apartment appears to be the latest of the two. Hopefully this info is useful and if there's anything I can do to help out I'll do what I can. |

His number that I had on him was 902 270-5408.
Also after doing some searching on the other site I found he claims to be only 1 of 25 registered dobro players in NS. He also made claims to be a super tech with all kinds of IT certs (MSCE, A++ and Novell) also he claims to be a repo man.. with over 1100 repos to his credit. I tried to search for repo agencies in and around Sydney but no luck so far. Might be worth a few of us chipping in and posting a WANTED poster and post it in the Chronicle and CB Post. Also ... keep the info rolling as I am heading to Sydney towards the end of March for a hockey tourney.. I will pay him a visit and I am pretty sure he also posted looking for adult goalie gear so with 150+ teams going I am sure he'd be around if he was a player.
