Back in March, Brian ordered a custom plaque for his fiance. Its now October and i'm still chasing him to come
and pick it up. its not like its expensive, only $25 but its been one excuse after another for 7 months now. I've now
changed my policy regarding personalized plaques thanks to him.

not from what i've read on facebook. still shouldn't matter. if you'd commissioned someone
to make a custom item for you, then you should pay for it. its not like it was expensive (only

but every time i tried to get $25 for the plaque, his boss was always screwing him over with his paycheque.
i've used Brian as a learning experience and now get a deposit on personalized items. i'll keep it as a sample
for potential customers to view as an example once i start setting up at craft shows.

Wow, it sounds like novascroller seems to know it all, now let's just explain what happened since some people seem to like to twist things to look like the "good guy". When I originally ordered the plaque I was at my old job, and yes I did have problems coming up with the money, as my boss was VERY unreliable with pay, and my fiance and I basically had to make ends meat with just her pay, fortunately I was able to find a better paying job since then, which is much more stable and I am paid when I'm suppose to be. Although I would be able to pay for that plaque now, I would never consider buying anything from novascroller since he had to be such a dick to me, and was not understanding at all. I guess this should open everyone's eyes to see how ignorant this guy is, and I don't suggest anybody to consider buying from somebody who is sooo persistent over a $25 plaque, I guess this shows how desperate this guy is for money, and he has no right to post negative information on somebody he doesn't even know. If novascroller would have been a bit more patient and understanding, perhaps I would be still ordering plaques from him, and he would be getting more business from me., and perhaps other individuals as well through word-of-mouth. Finally, I feel it is very ignorant and mature to "investigate" on my personal life, it is nobody's business where my money goes.

wasn't i pretty understanding to your financial situations originally? i still have the messages if you'd like to see them.
i was pretty understanding and patient from about april to september. after that i pretty much knew you weren't going to pay up for the item. i'm not concerned about the $25 as making plaques is just something i do for fun (most times). it's the principle of paying for something you ordered, which you didn't. our principles are just different, that's all and that makes me "ignorant" and a "dick".

Sorry GongShow, but if you ordered something custom made and fucked off, I'd shoot you.
On principal alone, the $25 doesn't matter.
Next time you don't have the money, don't buy something.
Works well for me.

You're right about one thing...our principles ARE different, as I do not "snoop" into other people's personal business and then post it on here.....I'm glad we agree on that.

if your business is so "personal", maybe a public forum like the internet isn't the place for it. tell me, how did you feel when your old employer wouldn't pay you for your work? did you consider yourself a "dick" for wanting to get paid?
how is my situation any different?
