I bought a 'cord' of wood from this guy, in Upper Musquodoboit, paid $140.00 I used maybe four days worth out of it, ended up moving out of the house, and had a friend come with his 1/4 ton truck to haul it away. The entire 'cord' fit onto ONE LOAD on this 1/4 ton truck.

A proper cord won't fit a 1/2 ton truck, without racks on the side.

BUYER BEWARE!

if a firewood seller won't provide you with a receipt, deal with someone else. also, do not sign anything when your firewood is delivered.
