Mattjslaunwhite Just Traded Me A Compaq Presario 1200 Laptop That Don't Work For My $500 Kenwood Stereo System. He Said "oh Yea It Works Fine U Jus Gotta Format It, It Has A 40 Gb Hd, 256 Ram & Dvd Rom". Well... It Has 64 Mb Ram, No Dvd Rom, No Network Card, The Screen Is Fucked, The Hinges Are Broke And It Wont Format. I'm Pissed And I Want My Fuckin System Back, I Guess I'll Have To Make A Trip To Fall River Soon. U Don't Know A Richard M Slaunwhite By Any Chance Do Matt? Answer Me And Give Me My System Back Or Pay The Consequences, I Tried To Be Nice And Even Pay U To Bring It Back But That Don't Work So I Guess I Have To Get Nasty. Bring It Back By Tomorrow Night And I Won't Come Looking For U.

Seems to me like there's conflicting information in your statements of wrong doing. Matt has not replied to any of your hostility yet and I can't seem to find any info on this laptop, so I guess we'll have to wait to pass judgment accordingly.

well i should say i was trying to be nice but i also dont like to be fucked around so if he dont get back to me by tomorrow night like it says we will be goin lookin for him and after all this time i did get it to format sort of lol and it does only have 128mb ram i jus checked and a biiiiig 4gig hd roflmfao i can see matt is a real n00b

with a -3 rating this has me wondering. For I to have dealt with Matt on another site before this one was born and my experience with him was very good. So I am wondering if something else could be on the rise here.

I've dealt with him a couple times and didn't ave any issues either. Of course that doesn't mean it wasn't a bum laptop... I'm sure Matt will get back in touch with you - he buys and sells a lot of stuff on these forums.

I know Matt's dealt with quite a few folks, so this is certainly a surprise to me as well. I'm sure something's a miss here.

That's because only one was feedback from someone he dealt with, the other 2 were from people saying he was basically an idiot. Feedback is only for deals made, not opinions....this thread is for that

I dealt with him... bad news. Sold me two computer DUDS! Drove out to Fall River to purchase. Came home, non working.. either of them. Called him, went back out to have him do something to them.. came home, still non working.. no sound card, won't hook to the internet.. just junk. He has my money and refuses to return and I have basically nothing. Spent a lot of time driving to Fall River, calling long distance (as he said he was evicted and moved to the Valley - heard some long sob story about only him being evicted but not the girl he was living with, blah blah blah) and still two non working, crappy computers. Thanks for nothing. Said he would get back to me... still waiting...for him and/or his buddy Jeremy! Wouldn't deal with again... EVER!
