Default destination wedding photos

So my girl is getting married in the Dominican in Feb, we are going of course, but the thing is that there is no photographer, so basically you have to do it yourself.... MY question is anyone have any great poses/ideas for photos???

Well you really should have someone who knows what they are doing..this is a moment in their life that should be captured in the best possible light..trying to learn a crash couse in photography is going to result in adequate photos...I hope you are no planning on using a point an dshoot camera..the depth of field in such cameras is well adequate.

I suggest finding a photographer in th edom. and use them. or take me with you.

cheers

i would HIGHLY suggest hiring a professional wedding photographer. It's not really something you want to pay all that money for, only do once and only have snapshots to record the day. It's a mistake some people make, not usually those that are in the destination market, but it's a mistake all the same.

I stress again, not just some weekend warrior that takes an image now and then, for a wedding you really need someone professional. There's a whole lot more to it than gear, or pressing a button.
(btw site owners-not a plug here for myself, i'm not available any longer for weddings in the 07 season)

Any pics by the water is the best whether it be sitting or standing, my parents went to a wedding in the Dominican a few years back and that's how the photographer did it, beautiful pics, too! Just use your imagination, be creative!!
