I had to drive to Fredericton to pick this computer up from my Aunt so I could see what is wrong with it.

Strangely enough, it's the board + chip that was in that SSF case you got from me......

I don't know if you'll have much luck tracking down a S754 chip these days... getting a little bit long in the tooth.

I know, but having to build something new to replace what she had when it might just be a cooked sempron seems like such a waste. Especially since it just has to run "word".

Somebody out there must have one of these sitting around serving little or no purpose...
