LF: dx 10 video card + advice - NS4Sale

I'm looking for a dx10 card in the 8600GTS performance range.

I had a BFG 8800 GT OC, but it was overkill for what I do - some gaming, but
mostly dual monitor graphics. ie: i'm not playing Crysis maxed out.

Now I am stuck running a 10 yr old voodoo 3 2000 and suffering from scroll lag.

Here are the best potential buys online - although I hate paying tax and shipping - and waiting for rebates:

EVGA E-GEFORCE 8600GT Ssc Edition 684MHZ 256MB DDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDTV Out DIRECTX10 Video Card
8600 - highly overclocked $100 total

or, for $30 more:

Bfg Geforce 9600GT Oc 675MHZ 512MB 1.8GHZ DDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I Hdtv Out Video Card
bfg 9600

any used card or advice welcome. $130 is the most I want to spend.

i just got a radeon hd3650 and i can even play crysis dx10 on medium at decent frame rates. i am a moderate gamer and this card suits me perfectly. it cost 70 plus tax. definatly worth the money. havent found a game yet that cant be played on at least meidum, alot on high, in 720p

i can vouch for the radeon 3650 also, or even the 3450, they're both pretty good performers for their price, and they'll definitely be able to handle most applications.

If you check your 9600gt link you'll see that they have a $40 mail in rebate until the end of june - brings it down to $100 after rebate. I've had 2 rebates from bfg over the years with no trouble at all.
