I looked it up on the Toshiba forums, people have downgraded to XP. Can't really comment on the ease of it.

They are not the easiest to downgrade. I have experience in doing 2 of them and both were not as easy as Toshiba makes it sound. Just do your homework.

oh, i know how to downgrade no problem, i just wanted to know if it's downgrade certified. there's usually a note on the packaging and in the manual to say wether it is or not. if i had the model number, then i could find out for sure, it's no good to install xp and then find out that they didn;t bother to make drivers for it.
