Default FS: MacBook

Up for sale is a white 1.83 GHz Macbook ( not core 2 duo ).. its got a 160 gig HD and 1 Gig of ram... its in PERFECT working condition and has served me well ever since I bought it. the reason im selling is I want to get a Macbook Pro.

Im going to ask for something in the price range of $1500- 2000 considering the upgraded HD was a good 249.99 which I bought in December 06. serious interests are encourage... the laptop comes with everything you would get if you were to get this from Apple.ca.

box manuals and remote included

thanks

in December 06 the Core Duo was already considered refurbished and was being cleared out at discounts.
get your facts straight.

he's right elisha, dont repeatedly post just to argue over trivial mistakes. His asking price is fair considering the extra ram, extra hard drive and remaining applecare coverage. No one likes price police, especially when its unwarranted. Good luck with the sale jjmann.

no it isn't considering i only paid $1600 for a brand new C2D Macbook with 2.0Ghz and 2gb of ram and 120Gb hard drive.
>1500 would be appropriate.
in fact if you purchase with apple.ca with a student discount, you can get another $100 or so knocked off on the current models.

i'm not knocking on his price, i'm just sensing that he is being untruthful about what he paid for it initially considering his model was the lower end CD macbook at in December it was being cleared out at $1149 because the C2D lower ends were being sold for $1249.

its not worth what you orignally piad for it, nothing is and you will never get that much even with the extra stuff, why would someone buy a slower machine for more then a newer one? everybody would like to get what they paid or more for items but in the real world you get like 75% of what its worth back, just my 2 cents

if you paid that much, you got ripped off big time. in December, apple.ca was not customizing nor selling the CD Macbooks new anymore....just refurbished. also Applecare is only for 3 years and the 1 year is free for repair and 90 days is for phone support which comes with the purchase.

and btw what you have is Dual Core. Single core is CoreSolo.
i'm not trying to knock your price but i really feel like you don't know what you have got there or someone has severely misinformed you. it looks like it by the price you paid for it.
where did you buy it from?

yes you are correct... add the apple care warranty and the total is 1998.00 ( without tax and shipping ).

but lets stop arguing, I just want to get this thing sold. so lets just say ill consider offers that people throw at me that I think is fair
