512MB DDR Memory
80GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
Brand New 18x DVD-RW Drive
LEGAL COPY OF WINDOWS XP PRO Pre-LOADED WITH COA KEY AND CD
1.44" Floppy Drive
4 USB 2.0 ports
AGP Slot
Keyboard
Mouse
Speakers

The system was wiped and re-loaded with software and not used since (got a laptop)


Software Disks Provided:

XP Pro OEM disk (with original certificate of authenticity sticker on case)
All Drivers required to reload operating system if need be down the road)


There is no monitor included with this sale ... if you need or want one just ask and I'll track one down in your price range :-)

I can deliver the system anywhere in metro for free or charge delivery out of metro .. and would be willing to set it up for you if need be.

He has a price $500, which I think is high, but its there. thatj ust my opinion.

$30 Case with PSU used = $470 remaining
$25 Used Mother Board = $445 remaining
$40 used 2.4GHz P4 CPU = $405 remaining
$40 used 512MB DDR = $365
$35 used 80GB Hard drive = $330.00
$40 brand new never used 18x DVD-rw = $290.00
$10 misc cables to build and use PC = $280.00
$5 floppy drive = $275.00
$10 Brand New Never Used Keyboard = $265.00
$10 Brand New Never Used Mouse = $255.00
$15 Brand New Never Used Speakers = $245.00
$110 XP Pro COA & Disk = $135.00
$40 Labor to build a PC = $95
$40 Labor to load software = $55
$5 as a built in delivery fee = $50

So there is $50 left over of "flexability" but in my opinion even that can be debated.
Is a used OS really only worth 1/2 cost? lol ... what is your labor rate per hour to build a PC? .... what do you charge to load an OS, drivers, updates, and apps?

My price as listed in the ad is $500 if someone wanted to pick up the PC from me I would lower the price like $25 down to $475 to be a nice guy. If someone wanted a blank HD and loaded the OS themselves I woud drop the price another $40 to $435.

Something tells me i will have a hard time selling a PC missing a CPU .... thank you for the offer .. but I gave the prices per item as a justification for the price because you posted the system was overpriced, not to sell individual parts.

I dont mean this be a shot at Terran, I actually do value opinions ...

I am asking $500 for the system .. but as classifieds usually go someone usually posts a price they want .... someone who is seriously considering buying something will counter offer. I think the $500 tag is reasonable far from trying to rip someone off. The $500 is a number that gives people some idea of what I want for the system. I don't want people offering me $375 for it so it lets people know how much cash they should be willing to spend to buy it from me. I of course am willing to negotiate down .... if they are willing to pick it up ... if they dont want an OS loaded or apps the price could drop more than my already lowest selling price in mind. I do want to sell it afterall !!!! lol
