Core2Duo cpus only appeared in laptops in November......are you sure it is 7 months old?
or is it the older version with Core Duo T2600?

Dell gets them earlier than everyone else because they have a deal with Intel.

Apple got the first shipment of C2D for laptops for Macbooks Pros in late Sept begining of Oct and regular Macbooks in November. It was an exclusive partnership between Intel and Apple. C2D for PC was only released after that....mostly first week of November and some as early as last week of October. but of course there were online for pre-order before that and so were press releases.
there are 2 versions of this laptop....one with the CD and the other with the C2D so i'm just wondering if he pasted the specs for the new one instead.

CNET updated their review from the older model and it was dated 10/27

but i could also be mixing up the dates for all i know.

i was watching the release dates on laptops very carefully because i was waiting to get a T7200 Macbook to replace my T2400 Macbook.
