If it's for what I think it is which is lengthening your speaker wires to reach to where you want them then I suggest using an old set of RCA cables & splitting them in 2 like I did. worked mint. lol

Not for what you thought. It is so I can hook up my video card to my tv. For my tv has a vga jack.
Guess I could also go s-video if I could find about a 30 foot one that is cheap enough.

30 foot is way beyond spec for those cable, signal degredation would be severe. even at 25 ft it can get ugly becuase of interference. if you wanted to try it make sure you have heavy duty shielding on the cable.

Good to know. Sucks that I onlt have the 2 options for hooking my pc to my lcd TV.

The easiest way to do this is to buy a RF Modulator. I got mine at Radio Shack (The Source).

With one of these you can transfer RCA video (and audio if you like) to a Coax cable and run that to your TV. The bonus to this is that coax cable is hella cheap and you can run as long as a cable as you like. If you only have one Coax input into your TV you can get an A-B switch really cheap and just switch between the two.

This works great for watching movies on you TV.

However, now they have DVD players that will play avi or mpeg files. I picked up the Yahoo one from Walmart for $40. With this you can burn several movies to one DVD and select which one you want to watch from a Folder style menu on the TV. I would strongly suggest spending a little more and getting a better one as I have had some sync issues due to, what I would guess to be, a lack of adequate internal memory. By this I mean, when fast forwarding or rewinding a movie when you hit play the sound is out of sync. This is easily fixed by hitting the stop button once and then resuming.
