Default LF: DVD-R DLs

anyone know of an inexpensive place to get DVD-R DLs?
or should I go with +R DL? wiki says it's a more compatible format.
hmmm

i'd love to know where to get just one or two of those for a decent price, they're great for storing game patches. i now have 7.2gb of UT2004 patches and maps.

I'm thinking of doing a firmware mod on my 360 so if a deal does come around for DL disks I'm looking too. I thought I saw on RedFlagDeals last week Verbatims 25 packs on sale for 19.99 but I never made it there to confirm.

Don't know of a place, but I have an extra, unopened stack of 100 Maxell DVD-R. Asking $50. Will deliver locally.

That's cool but he's looking for dual layer discs

I guess I'll keep my eye on FS deals, but was hoping to get them for less than $1 each. For DLs, are +R more compatible than -R? I've found, for single layer, that -Rs are great for everything (*backups* of movies, games, data, etc)

Mike,

Don't know what's best when using dual layer but like you , I always used DVD-R for single layer burning.

I piked up a 15 disc DVD+R DL spindle at the Source @ Mic Mac Mall today for 19.99. There was a spindle or two left there.

Sale ends on the 28th.
