PC Medic
fooled you all. you thought this would be a praise thread for pc medic. I just want to say i hate this store. The staff is pretty useless most of the time, their return policy is shit (sending the item back to the manufacturer and waiting for a replacement), and they hardly ever had any part i went looking for. The only useful thing about pc medic is the used gear bin in the back because it's all tested gear. anyway i'd like to hear other's feedback about pc medic. Pc Medic are located on Robie Street near the north end. Phone is 902 455 4357. Website is http://pcmedic.com/halifax.html

I've shopped occasionally there. I didn't find them bad at all! As a matter of fact, I purchased a pair of RDram sticks a while back. It came to be that I didn't need the RAM after all. PC Medic gladly refunded my money (can't remember his name). Real friendly guy.
The used parts bin is a bonus too!!

I cant say enough god about Pcmedic. ive been going to them for all my computer stuff for the past 2 years now and ive made a good rapour with all the staff there... you give them your loyal business and its amazing the rewards you reap in the end. Yes, pcmedic does have a bit of a higher price then that of robotnik ,greenlyph or anywhere else, but its all worth it to me because I know that im getting a quality part. Friendly and A1 service. my customer satisfaction has been met every time.

i just can;t stand PCM lately, now that all the good staff left... The guy's i've dealt with since then are condescending dingdongs. there was one guy, i can;t remember his name, but if you weren't going to buy the latest and greatest intel stuff, then you weren't worth his time.

Musta been the same guy I dealt with... trash talked AMD the whole time and took 1 hour 15 minutes to quote me over $1000 for an older P4 system with no monitor.
I bought my first system from Ho back in '98 and was impressed with them then.... not now.

I've never been impressed with PC Medic. I think the thing that really made me decide that I wouldn't shop there, wasn't the bad experiences I've had buying things from them in the past, but rather just a question. About two weeks after Core 2 Duo's were released, I went in and asked if they had any in stock, or if they had any prices for any. The guy gave me a blank look and said something along the lines of "You mean the Pentium D's? We have the 2.8ghz one for ____". I laughed at him and left.
