Computer Annex
......why it is still around is beyond me :S
Each and every time I have called them (12+ times) they did not have it in stock but could get it in about a week. When asked what they did have in stock from motherboards to RAM, it was usually outdated AGP/DDR1 equipment. Last call to them looking for Arctic Silver 5 compound they said they only had Alumina thermal grease, which I believe is actually a thermal adhesive

I buy most of my stuff there, and have since they opened. They normally had what I needed/wanted in stock, and anything they didn't have they ordered... but I don't mind waiting, it's only a few days
Their prices on some items are a bit higher than others, but for me, it's really not worth driving to Halifax to save $2 - $5.
Arctic Alumina is not an adhesive.

Last thing I got from them was an Enermax 350W that had wild fluctuations in voltages and I had only used it for two weeks. I ended up with a burned out AGP slot and a dead board. Computer Annex (Gary) did not want to refund my power supply and insisted I bring it in for testing. So much for that 30 day money back they had....

Jeez, why does everyone always bash these guys? I've never had a problem, and on a couple emergency's, Gary has opened up the shop on Sunday for me.

Well Nukkus, it's nice that you have had good times at the Annex. These guys don't appear to be "Bashing" it any form to me, they just appear to have had bad experiences with the place and are discussing it.

How is asking for my money back on a power supply under 30 days and not being given it...bashing? I had a fried video card, a fried AGP slot and a PSU that gave unstable readings under a voltage meter. I had to RMA my board and Video card and didn't have any hassle trying to return those...
Regardless, I had my invoice/sales receipt, it had been only two weeks since I initially bought the power supply, I should have been given my money back, not a song and dance. Like I'm going to hook up my RMA'd stuff back up to the only thing I had changed in my system during that time.
