Default Black Lager Release @ Garrison Brewing Co
Friday December 7th 2007 at 10am Garrison Brewing Co will be releasing a strong Black Lager, actually a German style Imperial Schwarzbier. Limited run of 2007 bottles of these so they won't last long. 500ml bottles, each hand labeled and dipped in black wax. 8.3% Alc/Vol

Get em while they're still available!

You can't put a price on good beer, especially at 8.3% abv that you can cellar for years before it's at it's prime. You'd have to drive 800 kms at least to have the privilege of buying a similar beer. Think fine wine, except not. It's fine beer.

Malt prices have doubled and hop prices are up 450% in the last 5 months due to worldwide shortages. Aside from that hand labeling and dipping every bottle in hot wax is a very labour intensive process. Well worth $5.95 per bottle, actually it's likely worth more

Oh and thanks for the compliments on the Imperial Pale Ale

had one of these today, great beer...
i also had a IPA,very tasty stuff..

i'll be back for more tomorrow, and it will be more then 1 of each.

if you haven't tried these beers yet you are really missing out on some great product, thanks greg,
