I have decided it is time to upgrade, meaning that my current car is for sale. It is a 1997 Volkswagen Golf 2.0L 4door 5speed that is Sequioa Green. There is some surface rust and the hatch and hood are custom painted but everything passes safety. Fresh MVI in the month of September. The Car has 300,441km on it, however the transmission was rebuilt just over 10,000k ago. Anyways, here is a list of things done.
- New Suspension (KYB-GR2 w/ Eibach 2" Sportline Lowering Springs) 5k ago.
- Rebuilt GTI Transmission 10k ago.
- New Waterpump 10k ago.
- Replaced Alternator 5k ago.
- Wheel bearings & Tie-rods done 12k ago.
- Exhaust re-done including catalytic converter 15k ago (All magnaflow except for resonator)
- New Driver-side front & rear doors
- Brakes done about 8k ago, front and back w/ Emergency brake cable.
- Spark Plugs, Wires, distributor cap and rotor replaced around 8k ago w/ brakes.
- Comes with 17" ADR 5 Cypher Aluminum Rims with worn but drivable summer tires. Will include factory 14" alloy rims to use for winter tires as the car is too low to put winter tires on the 17" wheels.
- After-market cone air filter.
The $4000 is firm, as the car still runs amazingly well, and Volkswagen motors, if properly maintained will run into the 400,000-500,000km range, and most of the mileage is highway driving.
The car runs very well, and if you have any questions just let me know. Best way to get ahold of me is email, I check it every couple hours.
