very reliable little car, good on gas. only reason im selling is due to me purchasing a brand new car (for the 1st time)
95 Golf CL 1.8L 8v
267xxxkms
5speed manual
4 door
serviced every 5000km since i had it.
bought for 3k feb of 06
since then, ive fixed/replaced:
new suspension all around (springs, struts etc)
breaks (front and back)
rotors
all new break lines/flex lines
new wiper motor
new water pump
new oil pump
new radiator
new rad support
new aftermarket stereo
new windshield
replaced entire underbody
fixed front strut tower walls
headlights.
I know there is more, but off the top of my head, this is what i remember.
(i have all the reciepts which total over 3k)
the car was aging when i bought it. since then, it runs like a top, and ive never had any problems. good daily driver, grocery getter, or if youre so inclined, project.
it has come cosmetic items wrong with it, however they are quick inexpensive fixes. if i was keeping it, they would have been done.
Passenger side door trim is off (but i have the strip)
passenger side door lock broken (needs to be taken apart and key slot replaced)
hatch lock broken (same as above, just needs to be taken off and replaced)
and it being a 12yr old car some rust, but nothing that will fail inspection for some time.
this car could run another 3-5 yrs if basic maintence is upkept, which is understated.
