Default FS: Great winter beater! ($1500)

See details:

http://www.epinions.com/auto_Make-19...ay_~full_specs
http://www.internetautoguide.com/rev...998/index.html

- 1998 Pontiac Sunfire GT (Black) (2-door coupe)
- 143,000 KM
- 2.4L - 4 Cylinders
- Automatic Transmission
- Cruise Control
- AM/FM/CD
- Air Conditioning
- *No* sunroof
- ABS/Traction Control
- Keyless remote
- Safety Inspected until March 2007

Issues:

- Medium body damage to driver side quarter panel
- Paint scuff marks on front bumper
- Needs oil change
- Brakes "pulse" and may need to be refreshed
- Air conditioning needs to be charged
- Rear defroster electrical connection detached from window (easy fix)

I bought the car back in March 2006 to sell for a friend who was moving
to Toronto (she was responsible for the body damage by the way.. two
words: underground parking... LOL). The car ran well and I didn't feel
like going back into another lease so I just bought the car from her and
drove it around, car payment free, until about 3 weeks ago when I
purchased a new vehicle (planned purchase in advance and not due to any
issues with the Sunfire).

I spent about $2000 getting the Sunfire to pass safety (rad fan
replaced, headlight connections and center console replaced,
transmission fluid changed, gas tank replaced with new, etc). I have
driven it for about 20,000km - mostly highway between Sackville and my
office in Bayers Lake.

The car runs good but it is very much a beater. If you are looking for a
sacrificial car to run around in this winter, you might want to consider
this one. The mechanically gifted among us will love this car -- there
is nothing major wrong with the car that I can tell.. mostly minor
things that any good backyard mechanic could fix.

Asking price is $1500 ($2000 if you want to haggle.. LOL).

Contact me directly if you want to take a look at the car: jason@jacknife2.dns2go.com
