1989 VW Golf
Gas engine, Automatic Transmission...blue...
I don't know what exactly to put here for specs.
Its your run-of-the-mill over-the-hill VW.
The body has been repainted a couple of times, it is currently "dusty cnd tire blue".
It runs, and it shows high mileage but that is the 4rth console (so the mileage listed is wrong) it is on its second engine and 3rd transmission...the list is long.
The short part is that it runs. It sounds like crap because the manifold is leaking, but it comes with 4/5 tank of gas!
The body is pretty good, the floor is solid, I'm just tired of this car now that the manifold is leaking. If someone is pretty good at fixing this type of stuff up, I even have a second golf for parts!
Thats right, two for the price of one I guess. The second car is strictly a donor. It has plenty of good parts, but has some serious body holes in the rear. It comes with a gas engine and manual 5 speed transmission.
I was going to take the engine from one car and stick it into the other, but the car has developed a leak around the windshield. If someone wants to take the windshield out, patch, then put it back in I'm sure its do-able.
So there's my story.
Someone make me an offer.
I'm into this car for way more than its worth, and I'm done.
I'd like to wash my hands of it all together for about $500.
Thats two cars, and I can arrange delivery.
The cars are NOT inspected, but I can arrange to have them towed as long as its not too far.
