My "first" car was a 1989 VW Jetta "Flair".
5 spd manual transmission, turbo diesel.
It was dirty all the time, and at the end it ran like crap.
It broke the #2 injector pipe all the damn time (leaving me with only 3 cyl power, and dousing everything in diesel).
One day on the way to school along the overpass heading towards dartmouth on the bedford bypass the muffler came flying off and slid across the overpass bridge...god I miss that car.
I worked on it all the time.
I fixed and replaced things every weekend, and I ran that thing hard when it decided it was going to work.
I used to race my buddy in his z24 home from school...I never won but its not like I came in a distant second.
I loved that car...even though by the time it was hauled away it couldn't be started without 2 batteries and a can of quickstart (holy low compression eh?).
Actually, much like how I one day expect to lovingly reflect on a past love, I still have the head in my garage...

my first car was a

1987 Dodge Omni - i had alot of fun in that car, it never let me down (once it was heated up), in the winter the locks would freeze and i would have to crawl in thru the hatch.
speaking of the hatch, it also leaked, so there would be anywhere up to 6 inches of water where the spare tire was kept, so in the summer if i hit the brakes hard when i had ppl in the back they would get their asses all wet.

my second car was a
1976 Mini - best car i've ever owned, so fun. wish i never had to sell it. and it was had to sell, lost my job back then, rent and bills had to be paid, someday i'll have another one.

then these
1990 Honda Accord EX-R
1998 Honda Civic EX
1999 VW Golf Wolfsberg

My first car, and my current car, is a 1992 Honda Accord coupe. Blue, automatic, Prelude alloys in the summer. Starting to rust... Soon to head to its grave...

I'm also in the "still have it club" -

'98 Toyota Corolla.

I'm not much of a car nut - I needed something reliable and good on gas. At the time I was living in Ottawa and my wife was in Montreal (yes, I said wife - we lived in different cities for the first 8 months we were married) so I burned up a lot of highway between Ottawa and Montreal every weekend.

While it has been relegated to the second car and doesn't actually get driven all that much, I still think it's the best car of the 3 I've owned. I had a '98 Cavalier Z24 that was a pile of crap, and we have an '03 Matrix, which I don't like as much as the Corolla.

Honda Accord here, don't remember the year as all we did is rally it in the woods Good Times, Good Times. Yes... I'm a redneck living in Truro but in my defence, I was raised in good ole Stewiacke! Oh yea, then there wer the 2 Ford LTDs, and Hundai Pony hahaha. Not much left of them when I'm done. Of course they never had brakes to begin with... or much of anything for that matter. Now I have to get a "real car" and try to not go up in the woods with it

1} 1976 Ford Extended Cab / Long box

- My dad gave it to me because it needed $1500 worth of brakes. So I guess he figured, what the hell, I let my kid drive it instead. Sold EVERYTHING I owned to put gas in it. Had it for 2 or 3 weeks.

2} 1977 Honda Accord Hatchback

- I loved that car. Excellent car, standard 5 speed. Went to the craziest places in that car. Got laid in that car. Damn. I loved that car.

3} 1979 Ford Zephyr

- It was a good car, but ugly as fuck.

4} 1978/1979 Honda Civic Station Wagon

- Man this car went anywhere! I had some crazy Toyo tires on it and it went through mud like you wouldn't imagine. I even folded down the back seat, took out the passenger seat and stuck my 1976 Arctic Cat Lynx Snowmobile in the back. I Shoved it in backwards and if I pulled the front skis off I could shut the hatch. Now you wanna see peoples faces when you show up out in the mountains and their all dragging the snowmobiles off their trucks and I pull mine out of this little car! OMFG! PRICELESS!

5} 1990 Pontiac Firefly

- Unfortunately it was an automatic and had a top speed of 120 km/h, but hey.... it got GREAT gas mileage LOL

6} 1989 Pontiac Sunbird Turbo 5 Speed

- This car hauled ass! I'd hit 180 km/h and still have plenty of RPM's left to go. Unfortunately I blew the head gasket and it wasn't worth fixing.

7} 1982 4 door Honda Civic.

- This was a great little car. I rearended an old guy that was riding his brakes down a hill and then decided to apply them fully to the floor without any warning. Oh, and in the back of the cop car he kindly told me of how he just had his brakes done and how well they worked. I wanted to straight up strangle him, but you know... being in the back of the cop car and all...

8} 1980 Ford Mustang II

- Absolutely THE BIGGEST pile of shit I've EVER owned. Nuff said.

9} 1979 Dodge Short Van

- This full sized, pimped out love making machine was a hOOt! Seriously! It was all done out inside with crushed velvet walls, roof, dash, BED, and overhead console. It had a wall with a hexagon shaped opening into the bed in the back The only windows were in the back doors and they had louvers on them. It had HUGE captains seats in the front that spun around to face the back as well.

10} 1990 Honda Civic Hatchback

- One of my most favorite cars of my past. Had a blast traveling through Michigan @ 100 M/h.

11} 1995 GMC Safari AWD

- Great van. Too hard on gas for my work.

12} 1995 Chrysler Neon

- I know... I know... but honestly, it wasn't a bad car... cause I didn't own it for very long

13} 1995 Eagle Summit Wagon

- Good little rig. was a standard 5 speed and had a sliding door on it like a minivan. was perfect for my job. I wrecked it.

14} 1998 Saturn

- Not a bad car...

15} 1998 Plymouth Voyager

- Piece of shit.

16} 1993 Toyota Camry

- What a beautiful car. Was hella comfortable. Had the v6 and plenty of power. Electric everything. However I opted to trade it in for my current car being as the gas I save every month, as a courier, is pretty much making the payments on my newest car.

17} 2003 Toyota Corolla

- Love this car. Great on gas. Handles great on the road. Love this car.

and... well... I don't think I missed any...

My first car was a 1985 Buick Skyhawk Limited (it was $500) my mother bought it for me even though I didn't have my license. I loved the car everyone else hated it!! Just have to say it was definitley a classic, lol, you turn a corner and half the time the passenger door would fly open, lol, however it's still on the road!! Someone in Shubie bought it.

My 1st 4 wheeled vehicle was a 1973 chev 1/2 ton pick up, 307 8 cylinder, 3 on the tree. Bought it for $500 and drove it for a solid couple years. It was quite the old beast
