Doctors know what they're doing. You should have stayed put. Pain can be referred from one area of the body to another, and maybe he was thinking that's what happened. It's their job; they don't get any pleasure out of sticking gloved fingers and lubricated devices up your orifices. GO BACK. It's stupid to ignore a doctor's advice.
