As is common with this model, the power button has broken. You can still power it on by using a paperclip and pressing the button inside the casing. Once powered on, you don't need to power it off since it goes into power saving mode when the computer goes to sleep or when it is unplugged.

Keep in mind that the panel used in this monitor is an MVA panel and NOT TN like the majority of panels used today. In short, this means that this panel is better at colour reproduction and has a wider viewing angle than the majority of panels at any electronic retailer in Halifax. See this wikipedia article for the full explanation of MVA panels: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TFT_LCD#MVA

Selling for $175 firm - cheap because of the power button. If someone comes to buy it today (May 16, 2008) will sell for $165.
