If I buy a Core 2, I don't think I'm going to bother with (major) overclocking. The only reason I overclock is Pentium Ds are horrible, and am trying to squeeze every ounce of performance out of it I can get. I don't think that'll be necessary on a Core 2, so I hope. But if I can fit my Thermalright Ultra 120 onto the board, I see no reason I can't try

Regardless, the board I'm looking at (see my post in tech talk) supports 1333 FSB and is going to support the upcoming 45nm processors, so I'll be future-proofed for a bit.
